WATCH: When Thai slugger Jo Nattawut smoked Sasha Moisa in dominant knockout showcase

ONE Championship has been true to its moniker as the 'home of martial arts' after bringing in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling bouts to complement MMA and when it comes to striking, few can compare to 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut.

The No. 3-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender participated in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix and faced WMC Muay Thai world champ Sasha Moisa in the quarterfinals in 2019, with it being the latter's promotional debut.

Nattawut entered the contest on a three-fight winning streak that saw him pull off a knockout against Yohann Drai and unanimous decision wins over George Mann and the iconic Samy Sana.

Moisa was able to keep in step with Nattawut throughout the three-round contest, but the Atlanta, Georgia-based star was able to find his comfort zone late in the fight.

Nattawut blitzed Moisa to score an early knockdown in the final frame and the sequence posted above saw Nattawut's quality shine through as he knocked down Moisa again leading up to the fight-ending sequence for him to ultimately win via TKO.

Jo Nattawut out for blood come early June

Nattawut is set to have his first-ever ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title shot and it will come against reigning world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai at ONE 167 on June 7.

Tawanchai got the better of Nattawut the first time they met inside the Circle back in October 2023. However, Nattawut believes that he can avenge his loss to Tawanchai while also becoming a ONE world champion in the process as he will have ample time to prepare.

With their countrymen roaring them on inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, their rematch is expected to be filled with fireworks.

ONE 167 will air live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
