WATCH: Yurik Davtyan pays hefty price of taunting Thai knockout machine Jo Nattawut
ONE Championship re-posted Jo Nattawut's vicious fight-ending sequence during his kickboxing fight against Yurik Davtyan. In November 2021, Nattawut was matched up against Davtyan at ONE: NextGen II for an action-packed featherweight matchup.
At the time, 'Smokin' Jo was coming off a loss against the legendary Giorgio Petrosyan, while 'Mee Khao Jomhot' was making his promotional debut in the sport.
Davtyan came out firing and even taunted Nattawut in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix alternate bout. Unfortunately for him, 'Smokin' Jo landed a massive right hand that folded the Armenian-Russian for a violent first-round knockout win.
ONE recently shared the footage on Instagram of Nattawut's impressive finish against Davytan.

Since then, Nattawut has showcased several entertaining performances in kickboxing and Muay Thai. He has produced a successful promotional tenure, but he hasn't become a world champion under the ONE banner, which he plans to do by pulling off a massive upset next time out.
Jo Nattawut looks to avenge loss against Tawanchai and become new ONE featherweight Muay Thai king
In October 2023, a short-notice opponent was needed to face ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai after Superbon pulled out with a leg injury. Jo Nattawut accepted the opportunity for a non-title kickboxing bout, which ended up being a Fight of the Year contender due to the intense back-and-forth action.
Two months later, Nattawut produced another instant classic in a Muay Thai matchup he won against Luke Lessei. ONE Championship decided to reward 'Smokin' Jo for his last two fights with an upcoming world title shot.
On June 7, Nattawut will challenge Tawanchai for his featherweight Muay Thai world title in the ONE 167 co-main event. The event goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, which can be seen live and for free by American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
