WATCH: Zion Clark, fighter with no legs, rolls with Aljamain Sterling at the UFC Performance Institute
UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling was joined by Zion Clark this past weekend at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Zion Clark is a 25-year-old MMA fighter who has no legs. The American was born with caudal regression syndrome, which hinders the development of the lower half of the body and affects an equal proportion of boys and females. It is a rare disorder and is believed to be evident in one in every 5,000 births.
Zion Clark has made quite the name for himself over the years. Despite his condition, he beat an able-bodied fighter back in December 2022 in what was his MMA debut. Since then, he has caught a lot of attention and often finds himself training with some of the biggest MMA stars in the world.
That was on display recently when he rolled with Aljamain Sterling at the UFC Performance Institute. Clark took to Instagram to share a video of the interaction, writing:
"Such a pleasure rolling with you champ @funkmastermma at the UFC training center this past weekend."

Aljamain Sterling has not received a contract to fight Henry Cejudo from UFC, claims Merab Dvalishvili
UFC bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili has claimed that Aljamain Sterling is yet to receive a contract to fight Henry Cejudo. Sterling and Cejudo are slated to take on each other in a highly anticipated matchup later this year in May.
However, the UFC has failed to officially announce the fight despite announcing the UFC 288 pay-per-view and a number of fights for it. Speaking about that during an interview with Helen Yee, Merab Dvalishvili revealed that the UFC has told Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo to stay ready for May.
He said:
"That fight is happening, for sure. Henry is ready, Aljo is ready and that's it. Aljo is injury-free, doing PT every day, and he's started training camp. UFC, lately, they offer you a fight, you say yes, then they give you dates but they don't send your contract. Aljo told me that there is no contract [for the potential Cejudo fight], they never sent Aljo a contract. They will, of course, [send the contract]. UFC told them both to be ready for May."
