“We can arrange something” - John Lineker dares Rodtang to come up to bantamweight for possible Muay Thai super fight
Veteran MMA fighter John Lineker is open to taking on ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon but said it has to be in his traditional lane of bantamweight or in a neutral weight class.
'Hands of Stone' shared this following a second straight Muay Thai win at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Oct. 4 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He told combat sports journalist Nick Atkin in an interview:
"The intention is for him [Rodtang] to come up to my division, because for me it's hard to come down to his division. But if not, we can arrange something to fight."

At ONE Fight Night 25, John Lineker dominated Russian opponent Alexey Balyko in their bantamweight Muay Thai scrap, unleashing a barrage of strikes en route to completing a knockout victory in the opening round. The win was the second straight for him in the "art of eight limbs" after he defeated America's Asa Ten Pow by knockout last month in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A.
Rodtang, meanwhile, is set to defend the flyweight Muay Thai belt against British striker Jacob Smith in November in Thailand.

John Lineker earns second straight $50,000 performance bonus at ONE Fight Night 25
Apart from making it two wins from two in Muay Thai matches, John Lineker also earned his second straight $50,000 performance bonus at ONE Fight Night 25: on Oct. 4 in Thailand.
He received the hefty incentive from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong after he steamrolled over Russian opponent Alexey Balyko in their bantamweight Muay Thai showdown, which he capped with an impressive knockout win in the opening round.
It was in folllow up to his bonus-winning Muay Thai debut last month in the United States, where he also stopped Asa Ten Pow by KO.
John Lineker was one of two fighters rewarded with a performance bonus at ONE Fight Night 25, with the other being flyweight Muay Thai fighter Johan Estupinan, who was a KO winner over Morocco's Zakaria El Jamari.
