"We need it sooner or later" - Fan debate still raging on after Superlek and Rodtang's all-time super fight in Bangkok

Nine months after their mega showdown at ONE Friday Fights 34, ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 and ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon are still sparking conversations on who really won their catchweight Muay Thai bout.

Conversations among fans started to resurface when ONE recently reposted the full fight between the two Thai megastars on YouTube:

"ONE World Champions Rodtang and Superlek threw everything but the kitchen sink in one of the most epic Muay Thai showdowns you will ever see! 'The Kicking Machine' will take on Thai star Kongthoranee at ONE Friday Fights 68, before taking a shot at Jonathan Haggerty's bantamweight Muay Thai crown at ONE 168: Denver!"

It was undoubtedly one of the most competitive and exciting Muay Thai fights in history. It was decided with a controversial knockdown in the second round of the match, which awarded 'The Kicking Machine' a unanimous decision nod from the judges against 'The Iron Man'.

Due to this, fans like users @godpurger4742, @dinarfirjatullah7522, @tonycampy3310, @Explorshon, and @user-jv4em8ng6w were jawing back-and-forth on the comment section:

Superlek wants to continue nine-fight win streak against Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE Friday Fights 68

Following that massive victory against Rodtang, Superlek also added Japanese megastar Takeru Segawa to his victim list in January 2024. At ONE 165, he fended off his challenge for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title, extending his winning run to nine.

Currently, Superlek is on the tail end of his preparation to face fellow Thai star Kongthoranee Sor Sommai, who holds a fantastic record of eight wins and one loss in the world's largest martial arts organization.

The Kiatmoo9 Gym representative aims to record his 10th straight victory under the ONE banner and sustain his momentum heading into his ONE bantamweight world title clash with Jonathan Haggerty on September 6 at ONE 168: Denver at Ball Arena.

ONE Friday Fights 68 is available on ONE Championship's digital platforms.
