“We're doing the preparation to deal with it” - Adrian Lee gets ready to face Denver’s vaunted elevation
Teenage phenom Adrian Lee knows that apart from the challenge he is set to face in the Circle in his scheduled match in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., next month, he also needs to deal with the effects of the higher altitude of the "Mile High City." It is something he said they are working on in training.
18-year-old Lee will make his second professional outing at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 against hometown hero and ONE-debuting Nico Cornejo in a lightweight MMA clash. It is part of the event happening at the Ball Arena and airing live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
In an inteview with Cageside Press, Adrian Lee shared how training has been like for him for ONE 168 and how it includes adjusting to the vaunted elevation that Denver is known for.

Adrian Lee vows to bring the full arsenal against Nico Cornejo
Adrian Lee vows to showcase, as always, the full package when he takes on Nico Cornejo in a lightweight MMA clash at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6. It is something he said he takes pride in and uses to build a solid foundation for his professional career.
He said so in the same interview with Cageside Press, highlighting how being a well-rounded fighter has been a motor for him since he began picking up MMA.
The Singaporean-American fighter said:
"My favorite part is MMA as a whole. My favorite thing to do is mix up my striking, my wrestling, and my grappling. Because I feel one thing we do really well is to mix it all up together."
Adrian Lee came on board ONE Championship late last year after making a name for himself in amateur wrestling and MMA in Hawaii. He hopes to extend success and follow in the footsteps of his world champion siblings Angela Lee (atomweight/retired) and Christian Lee (lightweight and welterweight) in the "Home of Martial Arts."
