“We’re ready” - Danny Kingad says training camp ahead of ONE 169 duel against Adriano Moraes has been nothing short of perfect

It's all systems go for Danny Kingad. The Filipino standout will face former tormentor Adriano Moraes in a pivotal flyweight MMA contest at the stacked ONE 169 card on Nov. 8 at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Kingad said there are no hitches in his training camp while preparing for his rematch against the former ONE flyweight MMA world champion in Bangkok.

Danny Kingad even stressed that his training camp in Baguio City at Lions Nation MMA might be the best one he's had in his career.

He said:

"Our camp has been excellent. We have been training well and my brothers are with me. We also didn’t have issues with injuries or anything. We’re ready."

Kingad is one of the most technically gifted fighters in ONE Championship and can rely on his striking and grappling to get the job done.

This style pushed him to an impressive 11-4 record in ONE Championship, including a strong 4-0 start in the promotion.

His four-fight winning streak led him to challenge then-holder Moraes for the ONE flyweight MMA world title at ONE: Legends of the World in November 2017 in Manila.

Kingad, however, fell into a dangerous trap and succumbed to a first-round submission loss against Moraes.

Nevertheless, Kingad is determined to showcase his growth and a stronger performance in his rematch against the former flyweight MMA king.

Kingad's rematch against Moraes, and the entire ONE 169 card, are available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Danny Kingad says he found weaknesses in Adriano Moraes' game

Adriano Moraes is one of the toughest puzzles to crack in ONE Championship, yet Danny Kingad believes he's found holes in the former ONE flyweight MMA world champion's game.

In the same interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Kingad didn't specify Moraes' weaknesses but promised to expose those negative areas once the opening bell rings:

"We've watched and studied his previous fights and we did see a lot of holes in his game that we'd like to exploit. We'll leave it at that, but we're preparing a solid game plan to attack his weaknesses."
