"We see you and support you" - Jake Paul uses stage of Anderson Silva fight to show solidarity with women of Iran

Jake Paul recently expressed his support for the women of Iran, following the protests surrounding the treatment of women in the country.

The catalyst for these protests was the death of Mahsa Amini, who was brutally murdered by the 'morality police' over a dress code violation. According to authorities, Amini's hijab, a garment that is worn around the head, had not been correctly fitted.

The incident took place on 16 September, and Paul has used his platform to raise awareness about the ongoings in Iran ever since. During the ceremonial weigh-ins for his fight with Anderson Silva, women were holding up signs with words of support.

Paul tweeted various images of the weigh-in show with the following caption:

"To all the youth of Iran fighting for your rights, we see you and support you."

This is not the first time that Paul has publicly expressed his support for the women of Iran over the Mahsa Amini incident.

Last month, 'The Problem Child' uploaded a video of Twitter condemning the senseless acts of violence. Paul also called for his fellow athletes and celebrities to stand up and raise awareness.

Jake Paul speaks on changing Logan Paul's mind about the Anderson Silva fight

Jake Paul is preparing to face Anderson Silva on Saturday night.

'The Problem Child' faced two former professional MMA fighters prior to Silva, but many feel that this is a massive step up in competition. The expert-level striking of 'The Spider' has people leaning towards the Brazilian to come away victorious.

One of these people was none other than Jake Paul's older brother Logan Paul. Apparently, when the fight between Paul and Silva was announced, 'Maverick' doubted his younger brother's abilities.

However, in a recent interview with The Schmo, 'The Problem Child' revealed how he was able to change his brother's mind about the outcome of the fight:

"He was just looking out. He was scared. I mean, it is 'The Spider' Anderson Silva, and Logan was like, 'Hey are you sure you wanna do this?' But once he saw me spar, he knew that I was gonna exterminate The Spider."
