"What a fighter this man was" - Conor McGregor "absolutely gutted" after motivational cancer fighter loses battle with disease
Conor McGregor recently shared his reaction after a motivational cancer fighter unfortunately lost his battle with the disease.
The family of Richie McPeak took to his X account, where they informed his followers that he had passed away. Last week, he tweeted that his health had declined and that he would be stepping away from the app, but thanked his followers for their support. His family mentioned that he had battled the disease for over nine years but continued to live his life with a positive mindset.
His family wrote:
"Its with a very heavy heart we share that our beloved warrior Richie has passed. He lived his life showing love, kindness, & grace daily & we are all better for it. His battle with cancer has ended, but not before he kicked its ass for 9 1/2 years. More details regarding the celebration of life for our beloved Richie will follow."
The tweet caught the attention of Conor McGregor, who shared his thoughts and reflected on McPeak's passing. He mentioned that he was devastated to hear the news and will remember him for his courage:
"Absolutely gutted! Rest In Peace Richie! What a fighter this man was! Will remember you always!"
Conor McGregor reposting the tweet along with his comments will bring more awareness and hopefully encourage others to learn more about Richie McPeak's battle these past nine-and-a-half years.
