Joe Rogan beats the 'Sober October Guys' in a pushup competition
Joe Rogan defeated his fellow 'Sober October Guys' in a pushup contest on the latest edition of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) Podcast. In what seems to be an annual tradition, Rogan took part in in the 'Sober October' challenge alongside his friends and fellow comedians Ari Shaffir, Bert Kreischer, and Tom Segura.
The 'Sober October' challenge is one wherein participants abstain from alcohol and drug consumption for the entirety of the month of October. Apart from helping people cleanse and detoxify their mind and body, the challenge also aims to raise money for charity.
Speaking of which, Rogan, Shaffir, Kreischer, and Segura ended up agreeing to have a pushup contest on a special 'Sober October' get-together episode of his JRE podcast.
While the podcast episode was underway, Bert Kreischer questioned who among them could dole out the highest number of consecutive pushups right then. Joe Rogan responded by stating:
"Oh, definitely me." When asked by Kreischer if he should start, Rogan said, "Sure. Whatever you do, I'll do double."

As observed and confirmed by Joe Rogan, Ari Shaffir did 15 pushups but seemingly struggled with his 16th and final pushup. Meanwhile, Bert Kreischer performed 33 pushups.
Nevertheless, Rogan claimed that none of Kreischer's pushups were legitimate, as they were all half pushups. Before Tom Segura could get in his set of pushups, Rogan made a huge statement by performing 75 impressive pushups and thereby defeating his friends.

Joe Rogan opens up about his walk-around weight
Joe Rogan is widely revered for his dedication to fitness. On that note, it isn't all too surprising to see the 55-year-old beat his friends in their pushup contest. Rogan recently discussed his love for fitness and more on Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer's '2 Bears, 1 Cave' podcast.
The aforementioned podcast episode witnessed the UFC color commentator and veteran MMA analyst notably shed light upon his current walk-around weight. Harking back to how he shot up to around 211 pounds during a trip to Italy, Rogan stated:
"I was kind of fat because I just got back from Italy. I got up to like 211 in Italy. I went 197, 198 now. I got up to 211... I just eat clean and work out a lot."
Furthermore, Rogan explained that he'd eaten "like a pig" and engaged in excessive alcohol consumption every night during the trip, which caused the weight gain.
Regardless, the former Taekwondo competitor emphasized that his grueling workout routine and disciplined diet helped him shed the extra pounds, as they did after the trip to Italy.
