When Joe Rogan hilariously fell for clickbait "father vs. son boxing match" viral video

Joe Rogan recently fell prey to a misleading title on a video of a fight between YouTubers Matt Watson and 'Dad' at the Creator Clash charity boxing event held in Tampa, Florida.

In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), Rogan mentioned coming across a video of the fight. He described feeling "sad" watching the parent take out his full wrath on his son in the exhibition fight:

"I saw a video today of a boxing match between a father and a son. It made me so sad. 'Cause there's this young kid, he looks like he's probably like 17 or 18 and the father is 42. And the father beats the sh*t out of him. I mean like, dings him in the head and keeps punching him. That’s your son. And we’re watching you beat your son up? ‘Cause I get your son probably got cocky with you, but — and he celebrates after he knocks his son out? It makes me so sad."

Joe Rogan called out 'Dad' for taking it out on his son and disapproved of the whole incident before it was revealed to him that the video's title was clickbait. The JRE host reacted:

"It's not? What is it? Oh, why does it lie? It says 'Father knocks out son in celebrity boxing match.' Oh. I'm such a sucker."

The clip from the JRE episode was mashed together with highlights of the fight by Matt Watson himself and posted on Twitter in a hilarious compilation.

Joe Rogan praises Steven Seagal's fighting skills to Aljamain Sterling

American actor Steven Seagal is also known for being a martial artist and incorporating his skills into his acting profession.

He notably starred in action movies 'Above the Law', 'Out for Justice', 'Under Seige', and many others. Joe Rogan sang Seagal's praises to UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling in an episode of the JRE MMA Show:

"Just because a guy seems kind of silly, you forget like he had a real legit history with Aikido. He was the first American to ever teach at a dojo in Japan - he speaks fluent Japanese - and he's a legitimate Aikido master. Like 100% absolute legitimate Aikido master. The thing is Aikido is just not something that translates perfectly to MMA."

Seagal holds a 7th Dan and is a Shihan in Aikido. He also has multiple black belts in other martial arts such as karate and judo.
