"Why not let all men compete in women's sport?" - Joe Rogan takes aim at Imane Khelif's involvement in 2024 Paris Olympics
Joe Rogan has questioned Imane Khelif's involvement in the 2024 Paris Olympics, following the Algerian's controversial boxing win over Angela Carini.
On Thursday this week, Carini opted to quit from her bout against Khelif after just 46 seconds. The Italian was then pictured in tears as she collapsed to her knees and protested that facing the Algerian was "not right."
Khelif has since faced a wave of criticism following the fight, with many, like Rogan, claiming that she is a transgender woman. Speaking on episode #161 of the JRE MMA Show, Rogan said:
"This woman [Carini] today got punched in the face by a man. They let a transgender boxer fight in women's boxing. What the f*ck... Why not just let all men compete in women's sports? Well men would dominate. There's a reason why men and women's sports are all separated. Because it's not fair!"

The controversy surrounding Khelif stems from her disqualification from the International Boxing Association (IBA) Women's World Boxing Championships last year. Despite being born female and identifying as female, the Algerian failed the IBA's gender eligibility test.
She was, however, then allowed to represent her country in Paris this year after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced they no longer recognized the IBA and the results of their tests.
Joe Rogan lashes out at the Olympics for lack of athlete pay
Joe Rogan has admitted he isn't a fan of the Olympics, after the UFC color commentator sounded off on the sporting event over the finances involved.
According to Rogan, his biggest issue with the Olympic Games is that athletes aren't paid nearly enough for competing, despite it being one of the most watched sporting events in the world and generating a huge sum of money.
Speaking in the same episode of the JRE MMA Show, Rogan said:
"The Olympics is a giant scam. There's two things going on simultaneously, ok, you have the best athletes in the world participating in their disciplines. That's happening and then on top of that, you have enormous amounts of money being made and none of it is going to the athletes. It is a giant scam."
He continued:
"So the kind of people that are putting together that ridiculous opening ceremony where you've got a bunch of drag queens and the last supper and all that wild s***, nobody understands it. Because it's not made by athletes. It's not made by the Olympics, it's made by the people that are in charge of putting the Olympics out."
