Woman claims Conor McGregor "choked" her thrice in alleged rape case, criticizes Irish authorities for inaction

A woman who has taken legal action against Conor McGregor for alleged sexual assault recently detailed her story in front of a judge and jury. Former hair colorist Nikita Hand has accused McGregor of assaulting her in the penthouse suite of the Beacon Hotel in Dublin in December 2018.

Testifying before an Irish High Court, Hand also revealed that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) decided not to bring charges against the former two-division UFC champion in mid-2020, which left her highly disappointed. Speaking before the members of the court, she recalled her harrowing ordeal and said:

"I just remember him behind me and I think I was sitting on the bed. He put his arm around my neck and choked me three times. I just froze, and I couldn’t move, and I couldn’t breathe. I looked at the bedpost and was thinking about my daughter. I kept thinking I was going to die and I was never going to see my daughter again."

She continued:

"He pinned me down to the bed and pressed his whole body weight on top of me so that I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t move or breathe. The more I tried to get away and struggle, the more he liked it." [H/t: The Irish Mirror]

Nikita Hand reveals what Conor McGregor said before initiating the assault

In her statements to the court, Nikita Hand also recalled what Conor McGregor said to her before it all started. The former hair colorist claimed that she had used some cocaine that McGregor provided before she was taken to the Beacon Hotel.

Later, she recalled a security guard shutting the connecting door of the hotel room while she was the only female among three men present. After finding McGregor in the bathroom, she remembered him saying something inappropriate to her and stated:

"I remember [the] security guard over the window and another security guard closing the door between the two rooms. I remember panicking. Why is there three men in the room and I'm the only one in here? I also remember walking into the bedroom area and I remember walking the two rooms looking around and Conor was in the bathroom and he said something inappropriate to me. He told me to, 'S*ck on that'."
