"Work of art" - Fans already expecting highlight reel counters from Superlek in Denver showdown against Jonathan Haggerty
Current undisputed ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 has proven time and time again that he is one of the most technical fighters in all combat sports due to his elite-level fight IQ.
This cerebral approach was fully displayed in a recent Instagram post that ONE Championship published on Instagram, where Superlek demonstrated how he can adjust on the fly and counter his opponent's attacks.
In the video, 'The Kicking Machine' showed Mitch Chilson how he countered a teep from one of his fights by evading it and firing a lethal knee strike straight to the body.
The Thai megastar channeled his inner matador by inviting his opponent like a bull before catching him off guard with a solid knee counter. This unbelievable showing of technical ability was praised by fans, especially by users @michbeavon, @brtz_23, @ek_180.5, @_sai.kiran_, and @guga.kzt, who commented:
"That hurts just watching it
"His fight IQ is so high 👏"
"And haggerty always throws teeps he's gonna get countered by that easily"
"Work of Art🔥"
"name of the blow: rib break"
