"You have no dignity" - Sean Strickland slams "woke ce**pool" Netflix for hosting Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

Sean Strickland labeled Netflix as a "woke cesspool" amid the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight week.

On Friday night, 'The Problem Child' will headline arguably the most controversial boxing event of the year. Despite disapproval from many fans, Paul, a 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-fighter, is scheduled to face 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson in a professional heavyweight bout featuring eight two-minute rounds.

Paul vs. Tyson is expected to be ground-breaking, as Netflix will air the event to launch its expansion into live sports.

Earlier today, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland reacted to one of Netflix's ads for Paul vs. Tyson by saying this on Twitter:

"It's odd to me that this woke cesspool would peddle a 60 year old getting abused.... But again Netflix does love when kids mutilate themselves for the trans cause so I'm not that surprised that you have no dignity"

Heading into the November 15 event, Jake Paul has established a 10-1 professional boxing record, including an ongoing four-fight win streak. Meanwhile, Mike Tyson has only fought once in the last 15 years, an exhibition draw against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.

Paul and Tyson were initially scheduled to fight on July 20 before the latter pulled out with an ulcer flare-up. Despite his questionable health status, 'The Problem Child' has been listed as slightly above a two-to-one betting favorite.

Sean Strickland awaits date and location for Dricus du Plessis rematch

In January, Sean Strickland was beaten for his UFC middleweight title in a split-decision loss against Dricus du Plessis. Strickland bounced back from the defeat with a split-decision win against Paulo Costa in June.

UFC CEO Dana White has claimed Du Plessis' next title defense will be a rematch against Strickland. There was an argument for Khamzat Chimaev to receive the opportunity following his first-round submission against Robert Whittaker. Yet, White and the UFC seem focused on Du Plessis vs. Strickland 2.

It's unclear when and where Strickland will face Du Plessis again. The UFC hoped to have the middleweight king fight in his home country of South Africa, but several behind-the-scenes hurdles are making the event difficult to assemble.
