"You guys are f**king mentally ill" - Dana White snaps at fans over Jon Jones jokes within hours of rage quitting Instagram Live
Dana White recently snapped at fans asking him to complete an unusual request involving Jon Jones. The UFC CEO reacted to being bombarded with Jones' jokes and laughed at seemingly "mentally ill" fans.
It's no secret that White strongly considers Jones the greatest mixed martial artist of all time and believes the reigning heavyweight champion should top the UFC pound-for-pound rankings today. After many argued against Jones being the P4P best fighter today, White doubled down on his claims and leaned into the social media narrative that he's Jones' biggest admirer.
While White sportingly engaged in banter about Jones, it appears he was taken by surprise when a fan asked him to "oil up" the UFC icon. This is a reference to the meme frenzy that took hold of UFC fans earlier this year.
During a recent Instagram Live session, White read a comment asking him when he was going to "oil" Jones and responded:
"When's this oil thing going to go away?... This guy says, 'When you going to oil up Jon Jones?'. You guys are f**king mentally ill."

This comes just hours after White rage-quit his live-stream after someone questioned his love for Jones. The UFC frontman snapped back before leaving the stream, saying:
"Shut the f**k up. Look at the stats, read them. Best of all time, and he is the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. Ride that motherf**ker."

Dana White debates journalists over Jon Jones' status as the UFC P4P king
Dana White recently faced the media during a press conference and addressed calling Jon Jones the best P4P fighter in the UFC today. As mentioned, White has been on the defense regarding his opinions on Jones, and it appears he isn't planning to back down anytime soon.
During a DWCS 8 post-fight press conference, White engaged in a lengthy debate with the reporters in attendance. In a back-and-forth that went on for about 12 minutes, White justified calling 'Bones' the best P4P fighter in the UFC and said:
"He moved up and he fought Ciryl Gane and destroyed him in a weight class above him, who was the No.1 guy in the world - in the UFC. Then, we book another fight. He's training for the fight, blows his shoulder out - which means he's still active - gets surgery, recovering and is scheduled to fight in November. He is an active fighter."
