"You’re my b**ch” - Manel Kape takes shots at Kai Kara-France after ‘Don’t Blink’ dismisses fight with ‘Starboy'

Manel Kape has fired back at flyweight rival Kai Kara-France after the Kiwi recently shut down talks of a potential fight with 'Starboy'. The pair were previously scheduled to clash in the octagon at UFC 293 before Kara-France suffered a concussion in training that ruled him out of the bout.

Kape most recently appeared on UFC Tampa, the promotion's final card of 2024, where the Angolan put on his best performance in years. He secured a third-round TKO stoppage against Bruno Silva, after which he took to the microphone and slammed 'Don't Blink', calling him a "b**ch."

Several days later, Kara-France was interviewed by Ariel Helwani, who asked the flyweight contender about a potential bout with Kape. He said this:

"He's trying to get a reaction out of me. That's why he's saying my name now, even though he fought Mokaev and lost. He got very humbled there, and he still needs to be humbled. I'm not gonna give him the satisfaction, I'm worried about a title fight."

The No.6-ranked contender came across a clip of Kara-France's comments on X and responded with the following:

"If there were no cameras you would be unconscious until now. And deep down you know that you're my b**ch, you're a** belongs to me. I'll beat you till you love me f*****."

Manel Kape says he will knock on Dana White's door if he doesn't get a title fight next

Manel Kape reminded fans and pundits exactly what he was capable of when he demolished Bruno Silva at UFC Tampa on Dec. 14. His slick striking skillset was on full display, and stated following the bout that he should be granted the next title shot against Alexandre Pantoja.

Pantoja recently defeated promotional debutant Kai Asakura at UFC 310, and the champion's dominance over the division has left him with few obvious contenders to face next.

During Kape's post-fight press conference, he stated that he would knock out UFC CEO Dana White's door in Las Vegas if he did not receive a title shot next. He said this:

"I know they want to put me with somebody else to fight with before Pantoja, but it can't be... Me and Dana, we are neighbors. We live 10 minutes away from each other. If we don't have that conversation, I'm going to his house. I'm going to knock on his door."
