"You're going to see a different portion of me" - Jarred Brooks says he'd need to restrategize vs 'smaller guy' Gustavo Balart

Former ONE strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks believes his reach and size advantage over Gustavo Balart won't necessarily play into his advantage.

Brooks, who stands at 5-foot-2, has a four-inch advantage over the Cuban warrior, and he'll undoubtedly see areas where he can impose his strengths in their scheduled five-round tilt.

Still, he refuses to think he'd have it easy just because he'll be the bigger guy.

Jarred Brooks had this to say to ONE Championship about facing the ever-tricky 4-foot-11 livewire:

"He is a smaller guy. He's not somebody that I'm used to fighting. So, stylistically, you're going to see a different portion of me."

'The Monkey God' goes toe-to-toe with the No.3-ranked contender in the main event of ONE Fight Night 24 for the ONE interim strawweight MMA world championship.

Their showdown emanates from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, August 2.

Jarred Brooks eyes a "spectacular finish" against Balart in Bangkok

Should he have the right strategy in place and settle any areas of concern, Jarred Brooks wants to add highlight-reel finishes to his gallery at ONE Fight Night 24.

After surrendering his prized possession to Joshua Pacio at ONE 166: Qatar due to an unintentional spike, the Mash Fight Team representative knows he needs to deliver big time inside the Mecca of Muay Thai.
