Former strawweight king Jarred Brooks is ready to show his rival Gustavo Balart that he's not just a one-trick pony. The American superstar made a name for himself as a top-tier wrestler before dominating the MMA circuit with his indelible talents.

"I played wrestling when I was in college. And now I just go with that - with that punch-kick style. You're gonna get everything."
Jarred Brooks is hungry to reclaim the ONE strawweight MMA world title after being disqualified for an illegal spike to the head against Joshua Pacio on March 1 at ONE 166: Qatar.
But he hopes to resurrect his career anew with an interim belt wrapped around his waist. Although Cuban standout, Gustavo Balart, is rising fast, Brooks hopes to have the advantage early on and showcase, not just an impeccable ground game, but a fearless striking match that most of us have never seen.
