“You're not ready for this level” - Denis Puric’s venomous response to Johan Ghazali’s brash callout

Second-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Denis Puric didn't take kindly to what he perceives as disrespect from Johan Ghazali.

'Jojo' returned to the winning column at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6, where he obliterated Josue Cruz in less than a round at the Ball Arena.

Shortly after, the 17-year-old teenage phenom brashly called out Puric, even going as far as calling the 39-year-old veteran an "old man."

'The Bosnian Menace' took to Instagram to respond, warning Ghazali that he might be biting off more than he could chew:

"This guy, you went and beat up a couple of bums, and now you think you're ready for this level? You're not ready for this level, man. You haven't beaten anybody. You haven't beaten anybody that's a somebody, okay?"

Ghazali has indeed taken the flyweight Muay Thai ranks by storm with his incredible 6-1 start, including five highlight-worthy knockouts.

It is worth noting, though, that the Malaysian American's lone blemish came against Vietnamese striker Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat. Puric easily beat 'No.1' in devastating fashion last year.

Puric, for his part, is coming off a loss to flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon at ONE 167 this past June. Still, the Team CSK standout earned the respect of many for his incredible performance against 'The Iron Man'.

'Jojo' also commented on 'The Bosnian Menace's Instagram clip, making fun of his age and weight. Ghazali wrote:

"A Europe tour??? you look like you just got back from a cake-eating competition 😂😂😂. Come on old-timer, let's do this."

The replay of Johan Ghazali's latest win at ONE 168: Denver is available on demand for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
