“You’ve reached a crazy speed” - Fans marvel at Liam Harrison and Andy Howson’s insane pace in ONE 168 training camp
Veteran British striker Liam Harrison looks to be in impressive form ahead of his long-awaited return to action in ONE Championship later in this year in the United States. The promotion recently posted a video clip that had him crushing it in training with teammate Andy Howson, which fans raved about on social media.
'Hitman' will end his two-year hiatus because of knee injury at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., on Sept. 6. He is going up against Thai veteran Seksan Or Kwanmuang in a catchweight (140 lbs) Muay Thai showdown at the Ball Arena, home of the NBA's Denver Nuggets.
In line with its highly anticipated return to the U.S., ONE posted on its official Instagram page a video of Liam Harrison throwing insane and torrid kicks while preparing for his fight against Seksan.
Fans made their thoughts known in the comments section, largely going wild over the work being put in by the Leeds native.

ONE 168 will be the first fight back of Liam Harrison after he injured his knee during his title clash against former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama in August 2022.
Tickets for ONE 168 are now available on Ticketmaster. The event will be aired live and for free to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Liam Harrison says he is now healthy and ready to compete
Liam Harrison tried to make an early return from knee injury a number of times but found himself pushing it back as he was not completely healed. This time around, he is confident that he is back in shape and ready to get back into action.
The 38-year-old Bad Company standout will make his return after two years at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 against a seasoned opponent in Seksan Or Kwanmuang in a catchweight Muay Thai match.
In an interview with Sky Sports MMA Club, Liam Harrison spoke about his health status ahead of his anticipated return as well as the postponement of his plans to come back much earlier, including against John Lineker back in January.
'Hitman' said:
"I thought I was close to recovery and then I started training for a fight because I was going to fight John Lineker and my knee started ballooning up. I was thinking, hang on. I'm going to have to retire because I can't get through camp, my knee is swollen and I had one good day training and then two days I can hardly walk."
He added:
"I had some extra treatments and stuff now. I've had my rehab and my knee is fine now. My body is starting to feel like it did a few years before the injury. I feel strong, fast and sharp."
Out to frustrate Harrison in his return at ONE 168: Denver is Seksan, winner of eight of nine fights in ONE Championship.
