Former ONE atomweight MMA world champion Angela Lee is a champion of mental awareness, and her fortitude and spirit will be featured in a biopic that will be part of the Maui Film Festival.
'Unstoppable,' who was the promotion's longest reigning atomweight queen in MMA, shared this amazing news in a recent Instagram post. In the caption, she wrote:
"Through the creation of this project, I have experienced growth and healing β€οΈβπ©Ή Ther is still a long road ahead but I'm thankful to be able to express myself through various arts, which for me is my therapy. Thank you Nainoa for bringing these words to life. Lee has collaborated with Nainoa Langer for this biopic, which will highlight the mental challenges she faced during her professional career, including her dominant reign as the undisputed ONE atomweight queen from 2016 to 2022.
The Singaporean-American star officially hung up the gloves in September 2023 during a special appearance at ONE Fight Night 14 inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
