Young phenom Adrian Lee is beyond hyped to put “on a great show” when he faces Nico Cornejo in Denver at ONE 168

It's safe to assume that Adrian Lee is ready to further his influence in ONE Championship. The youngest of the famed Lee siblings, Adrian will face American veteran Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.

Adrian, much like his older siblings Angela, Christian, and Victoria, utterly dominated Hawaii's amateur scene before making his way to ONE Championship.

In an Instagram post, Adrian expressed his excitement about facing Cornejo in his second fight in the promotion.

Adrian Lee wrote:

"Looking forward to putting on a great show in Denver #ONE168."

The 18-year-old Adrian made his ONE Championship debut at ONE 167 against Antonio Mammarella this past June in Bangkok.

Despite his relative inexperience in the professional ranks, the teenage phenom already showed flashes of brilliance that could even be compared to how his older brother Christian operated as a younger fighter.

Adrian was relentless in his debut and swarmed Mammarella every chance he got.

After a near-finish in the first round, Adrian put Mammarella away with a rear-naked choke in the second.

He'll now try to replicate that same feat when he matches up against Cornejo in the American's hometown of Denver next month.

Adrian Lee talks about how much of his emotional maturity was developed through MMA

Adrian Lee couldn't have asked for a better MMA environment than the one he had growing up.

The youngest son of martial artists Ken and Jewelz Lee, Adrian watched his oldest sister Angela become the inaugural ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion.

Adrian was also in the corner when Christian became the ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Adrian detailed how his exposure to MMA helped to develop his emotional maturity at such a young age:

"I think that the maturity that MMA brings me definitely has helped evolve and shape me as a person and definitely helps me have an open mind and understand things better."
