Current ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo enjoyed success in his first-ever MMA fight at ONE 167 on June 7, where he faced veteran fighter Blake Cooper inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

His impressive debut in mixed martial arts was looked back by ONE Championship in a recent Instagram post, as they captioned it with:

Kade Ruotolo shifts back to submission grappling for his next fight at ONE 168: Denver

Despite his fantastic first MMA match, the Atos representative will need to shift back to the gentle art. His upco ming bout will be the fourth defense of his 26-pound golden belt on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver.

Ruotolo will face the reigning ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci in a champion-versus-champion showdown in front of the Ball Arena crowd in Colorado.

ONE 168: Denver will transpire from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
