"Your legacy speaks for itself" - Bill Goldberg honored to be part of Liam Harrison's corner and retirement at ONE 168

Pro wrestling legend Bill Goldberg gave full props to British Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison following his catchweight (140 pounds) Muay Thai battle with fellow icon Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver last Friday, Sept. 6, inside the Ball Arena.

After bowing via TKO in the second round due to the three-knockdown rule, 'Hitman' quietly announced his retirement by leaving his gloves inside the cage and later confirmed it on his Instagram, which can be seen below:

Goldberg, who was part of Harrison's entourage at ONE 168: Denver, wrote in the comments section:

"Absolutely an honor to share the walk with you, my friend. Your legacy speaks for itself and just know you are an inspiration for many around the world. Your hard work, dedication, and the fact that you're a truly great human being speaks volumes 🙏🙏"

Liam Harrison waited years to share the ring with 'The Man Who Yields To No One'. Although it was one of the best performances of his career, Seksan's power was unfortunately too much for the Bad Company product to withstand.

Liam Harrison addresses fight-ending punch at ONE 168: Denver

There was much talk in combat sports circles immediately after Liam Harrison's defeat to Seksan at ONE 168: Denver as the final punch that knocked him down landed on the back of his head.

During the ONE 168: Denver post-event press conference, 38-year-old Harrison addressed the fight-ending blow, saying:

"It was a hundred percent back of the head, but I was absolutely f**ked, so it didn't matter. I didn't [know] what planet I was on. To be fair, at that point, a f**king gust of wind would [have] knocked me on my a**, you know what I mean?"
