"Zeus, I love you brother" - Jake Paul captures wild plane ride home amid thundering skies post Mike Tyson presser

Jake Paul will have his hands full with Mike Tyson on July 20 but almost did not make it past the media tour press conference. Following the May 16 presser from Texas, Paul's plane trip out of the state proved to be a lot more than he expected.

When flying home from the event, Paul and his team captured a scary moment on the plane. Through a shaky video posted on May 19, 'The Problem Child' was seen expressing fear of the lightning strikes outside, causing turbulence on board.

In the video, Paul said:

"We woke up the gods of war. There's lightning on the plane, brother. Zeus — oh s***! Zeus, I love you, brother!"

Despite the scare, Paul and his team appeared to have safely landed with the 9-1 boxer openly joking about the incident.

In the nine weeks remaining ahead of his fight with the 57-year-old Tyson, Paul will engage in several more promotional press conferences leading into fight week.

In one of the most puzzling fights of 2024, Jake Paul will be fighting Mike Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight will be the first live-streamed on Netflix.

Since the announcement of Paul and Tyson, several other fights have been confirmed for the event. In the co-main event, Paul's close friend and business associate Amanda Serrano will rematch Katie Taylor for the undisputed women's super lightweight title.

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till will also be on the card, notably making his boxing debut against former champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Till has not fought in any combat sports competition since losing to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 282.
