"Suck me a**hole" - Paddy Pimblett lashes out at fellow fighters claiming he lost at UFC 282
Paddy Pimblett extended his record in the octagon to 4-0 last night after he defeated Jared Gordon via unanimous decision at UFC 282. The result has stirred up plenty of controversy, with the MMA community at large believing that Gordon won the fight.
Fans as well as fighters such as Nate Diaz and Michael Bisping took to Twitter to declare the fight a 'robbery' following the judges' decision. Diaz wrote:
“Bruh? You lost that fight”
Michael Bisping simply wrote one word in his since-deleted tweet:
"Wrong."
But the outside noise doesn't appear to have affected Paddy Pimblett in the slightest. The Scouser spoke to the media following his fight at UFC 282 and scoffed at the controversy caused by his decision victory:
"Control time means nothing. Damage [is what matters]. Look at my face and look at Jared's. I don't care what anyone says lad, when you look back at the history books I've got the little green marker next to my name. The W. So everyone else can such my a**hole."

The first two rounds of the three-round fight were tightly contested, as both 'The Baddy' and Jared Gordon landed powerful punches. 'Flash' conclusively won the third round as he controlled Pimblett against the cage for almost all five minutes.
Many felt that Gordon won at least one of the first two rounds and thus had the American winning the fight.
'The Baddy' has been surrounded by controversy for the majority of the fight week, after he created headlines on Thursday following his rant directed at Ariel Helwani.
Given the last few days, the adoration that MMA fans once had for Paddy Pimblett could fade quickly. It will be fascinating to see how the Scouser responds to the tidal wave of negativity he is now facing.
Dana White discusses controversial Paddy Pimblett victory
Paddy Pimblett was involved in one of the most controversial decisions of 2022 at UFC 282. 'The Baddy' was awarded a unanimous decision victory against Jared Gordon, but many felt that 'Flash' won the fight comfortably.
Dana White has now shared his opinion on the decision. The UFC president chose to lament Gordon's game plan instead of highlighting the possible judging error.
White said the following at the post-event press conference:
"I thought that Jared Gordon's game plan in the third round was horrible. He felt like he had the first two rounds, and he went in and pushed him against the fence. And I gotta go after the referee too... Horrible game plan by Gordon, and the ref let it happen."
