Paddy Pimblett reveals the soccer player he wishes to fight in the octagon
Paddy Pimblett is a lifelong soccer fan who regularly attends Liverpool FC games anytime his busy schedule allows. In true 'The Baddy' fashion, he has hilariously chosen the one soccer player he would love to fight inside the octagon.
The Scouser always tends to speak his mind, which has gotten him in troubling situations in the past. It remains one of the big reasons he is so beloved by a large number of MMA fans. His bold personality translates well into the cage, and as he has stated himself on multiple occasions, he is never in a boring fight.
Despite the feud between the two Merseyside clubs Liverpool and Everton, Paddy Pimblett publicly stated his hatred for a player from both Manchester teams but insisted he would love to face just one of them in the cage.
"No [it's not an Everton player]. When he first got signed, it was Bruno Fernandes because of how overrated he was. But now, it's Bernardo Silva, lad. I don't know anyone who likes Bernardo Silva, lad. He's an unbelievable footballer, he's a proper baller. But, he's a horrible wrong'un, he's a piece of sh*t. That time when they gave us a guard of honor and he just stood there. Come on, lad."
In the past few years, Pimblett's team Liverpool and the club Bernardo Silva plays for, Manchester City, have arguably been the two best teams in England. They have been going neck and neck for the Premier League title.
The Portuguese soccer star has been a pivotal part of Pep Guardiola's plans in Manchester, quickly becoming one of the key players in the side and helping them to four domestic league titles since joining in 2017.

Paddy Pimblett's current ongoing controversy
Later this month, Paddy Pimblett is scheduled to face arguably his most difficult test to date when he stands across the octagon from Jared Gordon, but he is currently embroiled in an ongoing feud simultaneously.
Whilst preparing for his fight at UFC 282, the lightweight got into a confrontation with the controversial Jake Paul, with the two throwing shots at each other on social media.
'The Problem Child' offered Pimblett the chance to come down to his gym and spar with him, though not in a friendly manner as the two are seemingly not on great terms with one another
