Paulo Costa roasts "f***ing bit*h" Khamzat Chimaev for fighting opponents who are smaller than him, urges 'Borz' to fight him
It seems the rivalry between Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev is not calming down anytime soon as the Brazilian recently posted a series of tweets taking shots at Chimaev.
As many may recall, Chimaev got into an altercation with Costa at the UFC Performance Institute (PI) before UFC 279. Chimaev confronted Costa over some of the comments made by 'Borrachinha'. Fortunately, they were kept apart and went their separate ways.
Since the incident, the two have gone back-and-forth on social media, with 'Borrachinha' calling out 'Borz' for a fight multiple times. It seems Costa has no intentions of giving up on pursuing that matchup. He recently taunted Chimaev on Twitter in a series of tweets.
Costa claimed that Chimaev only fights smaller fighters with no grappling skills:
"F**k b***h. Only fight small and no grappling fighter."
"F**k b****e fight me hirro de la puta madre. Cupcake Chenchen."
While it seems unlikely that the two fighters will face each other anytime soon, with Khamzat Chimaev majorly missing weight against Nate Diaz, it caused many to wonder if the middleweight division suited him more.
Paulo Costa is set to face Robert Whittaker at UFC 284 in Perth, while Chimaev is reportedly set to face Colby Covington next.
When Paulo Costa claimed he "stole everything" from Khamzat Chimaev
The beef between Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev is well-documented and the Brazilian 'Meme God' has left no stone unturned in trolling his way into a fight against the unbeaten phenom.
After Costa's scuffle with Chimaev at UFC PI a few days before UFC 279, the Brazilian made an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and was asked about who he wanted to face next, to which he replied:
"Chimaev. I think because he's on hype. I stole some of his hype. I stole his night's sleep. I stole his cap. I stole his main event fight. I stole everything. Chimaev, you need to do something motherf**ker. I stole everything that you had. Everything that you had. Your hat. I stole your night’s sleep. I stole your weigh in. I stole everything... So I think I need to fight that guy."
