Jake Paul thanks Joe Rogan after he hit out at people calling the Anderson Silva fight rigged

Following his impressive performance against Anderson Silva on October 29, Jake Paul was bombarded by fans who believed the bout to be rigged, but the internet sensation has since thanked Joe Rogan for publicly refuting those claims.

'The Problem Child' is on a tear inside the squared circle, and further increased his ever-growing legacy in the sport with his win over the Brazilian. Despite not facing a full-time boxer, the YouTube star has bested some of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, despite being years past their prime.

In a post on social media, Jake Paul thanked the popular Joe Rogan for siding with him against those who believe the fight was staged, insisting doubters can't help but deny things that would be impossible for them to achieve.

"Thank you, Joe Rogan. People don't want to believe something is possible if they can't do it themselves."

Joe Rogan branded Jake Paul "legit as fu**" and praised his ability inside the ring after watching him drop Anderson Silva in the eighth round of their closely-contested fight.

While it may not have been his greatest performance, the 25-year-old proved to the world that he is not only able to hang with some of the best combat athletes in the world but beat them convincingly too.

It is unclear what Silva plans on doing next, but since dedicating himself to boxing, he has been more than impressive. Though nothing is official, it is likely the UFC legend will step into the ring against a competitor closer to his age next time out.

What's next for Jake Paul?

Jake Paul has many options at his disposal if he wishes to branch out into new career paths. If he remains dedicated to the boxing world, who is he likely to face next?

After outscoring Anderson Silva and earning the win on the judge's scorecards last time out, the undefeated prospect took to the mic to call out a number of potential future opponents.

Firstly, similar to three of his recent bouts, another MMA icon is high on the social media personality's list. His ideal next outing will be against Nate Diaz, a martial arts star who has run down his contract with the UFC and is ready to test himself in another sport.

Another much less likely outcome for Jake Paul's next fight will see him step between the ropes and square off with Canelo Alvarez, one of the best boxers in the world.
