Rashad Evans back in action, set to take on Bader at UFC 192

Evans has been out of action since Nov’ 13

‘Suga’ Rashad Evans will make his return to the cage in the upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 192 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Oct. 3, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Ryan ’Darth’  Bader will be there welcoming the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion as announced by UFC president Dana White on 8th July, 2015 on UFC Tonight.

The reason for this matchup was the shared interest of both Suga and Darth to face 205-pound weight-class king Daniel Cormier. This looks like an evaluation round as both ‘Suga’ and ‘Darth’ were fixed up against DC earlier. So the winner of this particular bout is likely to have a direct shot at DC sooner or later.

Evans has not competed since November 2013 though he is on a two-fight win streak against Dan Henderson and Chael Sonnen. Bader, on the other hand, has been active with consecutive wins; recent being his victory over Phil Davis five months ago.

Evans claimed that “Bader is tough” on Sirius XM Fight Club radio and that he should not be debilitated. Bader too is excited to fight Evans.

Apart from this, no other UFC 192 bouts which will take place inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, are official at this time.
