Alex Pereira once weighed in on his relationship with Polyana Viana after their videos of the two training captured widespread attention on social media this past February. The sparring clip showed 'Poatan' engaging in striking drills with the UFC strawweight, before they moved on to grappling on the mat.

The MMA community was abuzz with speculation about a possible romantic link between Pereira and Viana, especially since the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion was going through a tumultuous breakup with his previous girlfriend, Merle Christine.
During a media interaction at UFC 300 fight week in April, 'Poatan' was questioned about his relationship with Viana. He responded with high praise and had nothing but positive remarks about her:
"Polyana is a very simple person. She is conquering her own space. I see a lot of potential in her. Whoever is in the UFC, their dream is to become a champion. And she said that’s my dream. I said me and my team could help her achieve her goal. She is very charismatic. I am not as charismatic... think the fact that her simplicity plays a big part in it."

Despite the swirling speculation, Pereira dismissed the rumors about their relationship in May, emphasizing that they were merely training partners and that their connection was strictly professional.
However, it appears that both Pereira and Viana have gone their separate ways, as they have unfollowed each other on social media, hinting at a dwindling relationship.
When Polyana Viana playfully mocked Alex Pereira with a prank video reenactment
Alex Pereira uploaded a video on Instagram in May featuring influencer boxer Jully Poca. The clip showed them sparring, but just before they started, Poca playfully lifted Pereira's chin in a lighthearted prank. In response, 'Poatan' humorously punched her to the ground, all in good fun.

Shortly after, Polyana Viana also shared a video on Instagram referencing Pereira's, featuring her son. In the video, her son lifted her chin, prompting 'Dama de Ferro' to deliver an uppercut.
