Shogun wants to face Rampage Jackson next, Belfort vs Hendo trilogy match set for Fight Night 77
After his UFC 190’s unanimous decision against his PRIDE FC stablemate, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua wants to fight his old rival Quinton Jackson. ‘Rampage’ had called Shogun for a rematch recently, and Shogun agreed to it at the post-fight interview with FOX Sports.
His words:
"Rampage challenged me some days, weeks ago on my Instagram account, and I would like to say that I will fight him, with UFC's blessing, whenever he wants, where he wants. Just match it up."
Jackson who was watching Rua's bout challenged him one more time, as he tweeted:
Shogun I'm ready..

- On the night of UFC 190 and World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 22, Dan Henderson took on Twitter to tell his fans about his next bout. Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza and Michael Bisping were the most likely names to face ‘Hendo’. But it turned out to be Vitor Belfort who faces the Californian in a trilogy fight. The two middleweights will be headlining the UFC Fight Night 77 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 7th.
Henderson’s tweets:
Just scheduled my next fight. Should be announced tonight!!!!!
