Logan Paul and Sean O'Malley applaud UFC star Paddy Pimblett for his exciting UFC run

While sitting down to discuss all things MMA, Sean O'Malley and Logan Paul took the time to praise rising UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett. The pair believe him to be the real deal.

The YouTube star, who has held a fondness for the sport for some time, has previously mentioned the scouser. He stated that he would relish the chance to lock horns with the 155er in the octagon. Despite them being far apart in weight, 'The Baddy' insisted that he's open to the possibility, though it remains unlikely to happen.

Making a guest appearance on the TimboSugarShow, Logan Paul asked Sean O'Malley who he has high hopes for in the UFC. The bantamweight opted to highlight Paddy Pimblett's career, saying:

"I think Paddy's making some noise. I'm not sure [on] the guy he's fighting, [but] I think he's making some noise. I like watching people with big characters, so I think he's exciting to watch."

The 27-year-old WWE newcomer chimed in, admitting that although he does trash the lightweight on occasion. However, he believes the Brit has everything to succeed in the sport:

"I want Paddy's streak to continue, I really do. I think he's a great lad. I've said some sh** about him in the past, and I'll say some sh** about him in the future, and I'll say some sh** about him right now, but at the end of the day, I think it's pretty objective that Paddy is f***ing fun to watch... He's got the look, he's got everything... The lad's got it."

Who and when will Paddy Pimblett fight next?

Paddy Pimblett previously stated his intention to fight before the end of the year. He seems to have gotten his wish as the lightweight contender will step into the octagon on December 10.

His opponent is the tough 34-year-old Jared Gordon. With a record of 19 wins and 5 defeats, 'Flash' will be looking to make a statement and extend his winning run to two straight. He will collide with the Liverpudlian later this year.

Although the bout order is currently unconfirmed, Paddy Pimblett will compete at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada at UFC 282. This will be the promotion's final pay-per-view of 2022.
