"The truth always comes out" - When Ryan Garcia offered his two cents following Conor McGregor's shock loss to Dustin Poirier
Ryan Garcia once chimed in with his perspective after Conor McGregor's defeat in his rematch against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 in January 2021.
McGregor knocked out Poirier inside two minutes in their original bout in September 2014 and went into the second fight as the favorite.
However, the American unleashed a relentless barrage of punches in the rematch, ultimately flooring the former two-division champion with a powerful right hook. A subsequent flurry of strikes left McGregor defenseless, prompting the referee to halt the bout midway through the second round.
After the Irishman's first technical knockout defeat, 'KingRy' spoke to ESNews to share his opinion on the fight and subtly poked fun at McGregor:
"The thing about fighting is that the truth always comes out. Whether it depends on the work, the time, or whether you have been keeping your body right, the truth always comes out."

Following extensive negotiations, Garcia is set to face WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney in a 12-round bout on April 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
However, 'KingRy's' recent behavior on social media has raised concerns within the combat sports community regarding his mental health.
When Conor McGregor offered words of encouragement to Ryan Garcia following KO loss to Gervonta Davis
Ryan Garcia experienced his only defeat in professional boxing when he fell victim to a seventh-round knockout by Gervonta Davis last April.
Davis' attack to the body ultimately paid dividends as a left to the right side of the abdomen eventually broke his opponent's resistance.
McGregor, who was in attendance at the venue, approached Garcia backstage following the fight to provide encouragement:
"He is 1-0 on you. You both are the two biggest names in the division. I want to see it again, I want to see it again now. And I want to see it with no rehydration clause... Mate, all the respect in the world to you. You are the future."
