In case you didn't know..
On December 8th, 2018, the UFC will be moving to the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The main event championship bout between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega has been scheduled again for UFC 231, after a previously failed attempt to make the fight happen at UFC 226. Brian Ortega boasts an undefeated professional MMA run against Max Holloway, who is on a current 12-fight win streak with the UFC.
For the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will be facing former strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzeczyk, for the vacant women's flyweight title. Both fighters share a history that dates back to amateur level Muay Thai tournaments, where the duo faced each other two times. During both instances, Shevchenko managed to secure a win over Joanna, making a trilogy fight in a fighting promotion as big as the UFC, all the more anticipating.
