UFC 232 Preview: Jones vs. Gustafsson 2
UFC 232 can't come soon enough as far as Mixed Martial Arts fans are concerned. With the coming of the last UFC event of the year, the fans are excited about a card which is filled with potentially extremely exciting fights.
Headlining the card, is none other than the returning Jon Jones. He takes on the man with the grudge, Alexander Gustafsson for the UFC Lightheavyweight Title. The pair faced before, but the result was not to the satisfaction of Gustaffson. According to him the Unanimous Decision loss that he had been handed was nothing but a joke, as he felt he had done enough to defeat Jones.
The co-main event of the night is no less exciting, with Women's Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg returning to action. She will be defending her title against Amanda Nunes.
In the Preliminary Card and Early Preliminary Card, there are several bouts of note, including the Heavyweight Fight between Andrei Arlovsky and Walt Harris. Elsewhere, BJ Penn is also featured on the card for a fight against Ryan Hall.

#5 Chad Mendes vs. Alexander Volkanovski
Following his back-to-back losses to some of the top fighters in the UFC, Conor McGregor and Franki Edgar, Chad Mendes took time away from the Octagon to recover. He came back after 2.5 years in 2018 and got a huge win against Myles Jury.
He will be facing in his second fight since his return, another top Featherweight Fighter, who only has one loss in his career and is undefeated in the UFC, Alexander Volkanovski.
The two fighters are well matched and despite suspecting this could turn out to be a mismatch given Volkanovski's form, Mendes has enough experience on his side to make sure that the audience is not handed a mauling. It might be Volkanovski who should be prepared.
