UFC Fight Night 142 Results: 'Dos Santos vs. Tuivasa' Results and Video Highlights
This week's UFC Fight Night event took place at the Adelaide Entertainment Center in Adelaide, Australia.
Featuring some of the top fighters in the UFC, UFC Fight Night 142: Dos Santos vs. Tuivasa had the main event with Australia's very own Tai Tuivasa taking on the number 7 ranked UFC Heavyweight and former Heavyweight Champion, Junior Dos Santos.
Dos Santos had an inconsistent record of 3 wins and 2 losses in his last three fights coming into this bout, while Tuivasa is yet to be defeated in his entire professional career.
In the co-main event of the night, 'Shogun' Mauricio Rua took on Tyson Pedro in a fight where Pedro looked to overcome the legend that his opponent was.
Lower down the card, Mark Hunt took on Justin Willis. While Willis is yet to be defeated since he made a bad start in his debut with a record of 7-1, Mark Hunt has not had the best luck in the UFC of late. His defeat to Aleksei Oleinik in UFC inaugural fight in Russia set him back a good deal, something he will be looking to make up for.
In this article, we will be taking a look at all the results from the main card of the night. Before getting into the main card, however, let's take a look at what happened in the Preliminary Card and Early Preliminary Card from the night at UFC Adelaide.

UFC Fight Night Main Card Results:
Without any further ado, let's get into the results from the Main Card Results from UFC Fight Night 142.
#1. Jim Crute vs. Paul Craig:
Round 1: The two fighters started off in a hostile manner, with Craig denying Crute's high-five to begin. Craig hit a high-kick, before taking down Crute and looking to get past the guard. Crute tried to get a hook and switch, but Craig's height came into play, and Crute was unable to take advantage.
Crute finally got to the top, but Craig seemed to have no problem holding Crute off, making him stand up instead. Crute went for a long left hook, but Craig evaded and dropped to the ground looking for the Triangle. Crute defended and went to the mount.
Instead, Crute managed to get to the top and got an Arm Triangle locked in. Craig had his arm pinned to the side of his head, alleviating the pressure somewhat, and allowing him to get out of the lock. Crute went and hit a big shot to the head of Craig before getting to his feet.
Craig went for another takedown, but Crute again managed to get the more advantageous top position and grounded and pounded Craig off a side half-mount.
Round 2: Paul Craig got Crute down yet again and dragged him along the ground, working him, making him expend all of his energy to stay alive.
Crute managed to get up, but Craig stayed on the legs of Crute. Crute rested his back against the Octagon and tried to survive the round, but Craig stayed on him. Crute tried to attack Craig's arm and then rolled him over and stood up.
It was Crute who got the takedown next and got on top of him. Crute finished the round looking for a submission but missing out on the opportunity.
Round 3: Craig looked way more tired heading into the third round and looked sheepish, while Crute got on top of him trying to work on the hand. Craig tried to keep his quarter guard on, but Crute wrenched on Craig's head, with what looked like a slow squeeze. Crute seemed too high to do his damage, and got on top and hit him with good shots.
Crute hit Craig across the head and continued to hit him with short blows. The blows continued to rain down on Craig, and Crute got a dominant mount with a ground and pound. He then locked in the Kimura on Craig and Craig tapped out with 10 seconds to go.
Results: Jim Crute defeated Paul Craig via Submission (Kimura, 3rd Round, 4 minutes and 51 seconds)
