UFC fighters Gilbert Burns, Renato Moicano, Billy Quarantillo team up with Orlando Magic to visit Walt Disney Pavilion of AdventHealth for Children
As the holiday season draws near, the UFC invited Gilbert Burns, Renato Moicano, and Billy Quarantillo to partner with the Orlando Magic to visit and provide gifts for those at the Walt Disney Pavilion of AdventHealth for Children.
Although their love for violence oozes out of them once the octagon door closes, each of the men who visited the care center are real sweethearts for taking the time to help bring joy to the children. Alongside Orlando Magic's mascot, the three athletes ensured the holiday spirit was spread amongst the Floridian residents.
During their visit to Florida and time spent at the Walt Disney Pavilion of AdventHealth for Children, the UFC fighters met some boys and girls and intended to bring a little joy to the lives of young patients ahead of the holidays.
"UFC & the Orlando Magic partnered on Thursday to visit the Walt Disney Pavilion of AdventHealth for Children in Orlando. UFC athletes & the Magic's mascot, Stuff, toured the hospital, meeting with patients, handing out toys & bringing happiness during this holiday season."
The hospital is hellbent on providing patients with everything they need, whether that's strengthening their bodies, minds, or hearts. AdventHealth, which was founded back in 1973, is a proud winner of the Emerald Award, an achievement given for its dedication to helping and servicing those in need.
Be sure to check out and offer your support to the healthcare company by visiting their website and learning more about just why and how they have and continue to offer security and aid to the less fortunate.
Who is Gilbert Burns fighting next?
Gilbert Burns has been out of action since his phenomenal clash against Khamzat Chimaev, a fight that served as one of the best fights of 2022, but what's next for the welterweight?
There has been a lot of talk of the Brazilian stepping in to face Jorge Masvidal, with both parties agreeing to face one another in the cage. That will need to be put on the back burner as 'Durinho' now has a fight scheduled for early next year.
With three wins out of his last four, Neil Magny will welcome Gilbert Burns into the octagon at UFC 283 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The card which is set to be headlined by Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno will be the UFCs first of 2023 and is already shaping up to kick off the new year with a bang.
