UFC News: Canelo Alvarez finally responds to Jorge Masvidal's challenge

At UFC 244, Jorge Masvidal became the inaugural BMF Champion when he defeated Nate Diaz in a thrilling encounter between two of UFC's most reputed welterweight fighters.

Since his win over Diaz, Masvidal has shifted his focus towards the world of boxing and for his first callout, 'Gamebred' decided to put Canelo Alvarez on notice, who also won the WBO Light Heavyweight Championship the very same night Masvidal won the BMF Title.

It has been almost four weeks since Jorge Masvidal decided to call out Canelo Alvarez, the latter has now finally decided to respond to the BMF Champion, as he stated that Masvidal doesn't have any business inside the boxing ring and similarly, Alvarez also has nothing to do with inside the Octagon.

This is what Masvidal told Little Giant Boxing via MMA Mania

“I say this with all respect: If I go into his sport, I have nothing to do there and I think the same about boxing – if (MMA fighters) come into boxing, they have nothing to do here. But looking at it from a business standpoint, it is attractive, but it’s not a challenge for me, so it’s not my priority.”
