UFC News: Cesar Gracice talks about the possibility of Nick Diaz's return
During the latest edition of The MMA Show, long-term jiu-jitsu veteran Cesar Gracie was in conversation with Ariel Helwani and during the interview, the former spoke in regards to a potential Octagon return for Nick Diaz and a possible fight against Jorge Masvidal.
Nick Diaz's callout to Jorge Masvidal
In the aftermath of the historic UFC 244 main event fight between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal, the latter made some bold comments as he stated that he would've liked to baptize Nate with his fists.
Masvidal's comments were certainly not appreciated by Nick Diaz, who in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani stated the following:
“You want to talk about baptizing my younger brother? That’s on you. I never had nothing disrespectful to say. But you don’t talk about baptizing my younger brother. You’re already in a f*king position if you fight with me. You don’t talk like that to nobody.”
Cesar Gracie on Nick Diaz's potential return
Since responding to Jorge Masvidal's recent comments, there have been several rumors which have suggested a potential Octagon return for the older Diaz brother and while speaking with Ariel Helwani recently, Cesar Gracie revealed further details regarding a potential return to the UFC for Nick Diaz.
As stated by Gracie himself, the veteran jiu-jitsu coach, who recently spoke to Nick, feels the latter finally has got the fire back that might motivate him to step back into the Octagon.
