UFC News: Conor McGregor seemingly rejects Floyd Mayweather's offer via a savage tweet
What's the story?
After recently rejecting an offer to train at Floyd Mayweather's own gym in Las Vegas, former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has now sent out a loud and clear message to the former WBC Super Featherweight Champion.
In case you didn't know...
Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather's bad blood rivalry initially ignited in 2016 when the two men went head-to-head in one of the most iconic Boxing bouts of all time. McGregor, who made his Boxing debut on the 26th of August against Mayweather, eventually went on to lose his first Pro Boxing fight when Mayweather TKO'd the Irishman in the 10th round of the fight.
Following the conclusion of the fight between McGregor and Mayweather, the heated and intense feud between the two men continued, as both men seemingly spoke ill about each other on the social media and during a few interviews as well.
The heart of the matter
Despite being retired from the sport of Boxing, veteran 50-0 fighter Floyd Mayweather recently invited his former rival, Conor McGregor to the Mayweather Boxing Club in order to train and sharpen The Notorious One's striking skills ahead of his UFC return against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
However, not only did McGregor reject Mayweather's offer, but also went on to tear through the former IBO Welterweight Champion on Twitter, in the most notorious way possible. He seemingly went on to officially reject Mayweather's offer via a tweet.

Conor McGregor will be making his return to the UFC on the 6th of October at the UFC 229 pay-per-view and upon his return to the Octagon, the Irishman will once again challenge for the UFC Lightweight Championship which is currently being held by Dagestani fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
