UFC News: Conor McGregor's incredible body transformation
UFC Featherweight champion, Conor McGregor, is all set to make history if he manages to beat the lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez, at UFC 205 on 12th November. This is because a victory for McGregor will mean that he becomes the first fighter in UFC history to hold two titles at the same time.
One of the most remarkable things about the Irish MMA athlete has been the way in which he has transformed his body from time to time, especially in the past year or so. This fact came to light during the weigh-ins for McGregor and Alvarez before their epic battle.

The 28-year old weighed in at 154.4 lbs for the match. This is in stark contrast to the 168 lbs that he had piled on prior to his UFC 196 welterweight debut bout against Nate Diaz, which he ended up losing by submission.
At UFC 194, which took place in December last year, Conor McGregor won his UFC Featherweight Championship by defeating Jose Aldo via a first-round knockout. The Dublin-born fighter’s weight for that match was much lesser than now at 145 lbs.
It is amazing how McGregor has been able to transform his body from time to time in order to fit into different weight categories. Popular MMA journalist Chamatkar Sandhu pointed this out by means of a tweet on his account showing images of the UFC superstar’s weigh-ins ahead of these 3 major bouts of his career.

In an interview with The Sports Bible, Conor McGregor’s former manager, Graham Boylan, opined that a weight of around 155 lbs suited him best. “I think for his frame and size he is a natural 155'er, yes. Cutting to 145 he is a very big 145'er but the cut is big and I believe he is a natural 155'er," Boylan stated about McGregor.
