UFC News: Greg Hardy and four other fighters handed lengthy medical suspensions following Fight Night Moscow
UFC Fight Night 163 was not the most violent event of the promotion in the recent past. However, five fighters now face lengthy medical suspension following the event in Moscow, Russia.
Greg Hardy is one of the fighters who got suspended on medical grounds for a significant amount of time. He, along with four others, got handed 180-day suspensions owing to several conditions and injuries and they will be out of the Octagon for the designated time period or until a physician clears them for a fight.

UFC Moscow medical suspensions
Greg Hardy suffered a loss to veteran Heavyweight contender Alexander Volkov via unanimous decision at the end of three rounds. He got his 180-day suspension because of an injury in his right-hand wrist.
Other fighters who got benched for 180 days are Dalcha Lungiambula for OMF problems, Abubakar Nurmagomedov for his left elbow, Grigorii Popov for a nasal injury, and Jessica-Rose Clark for ENT issues.
Hardy, Popov, and Lungiambula also got additional suspensions for 30 days with no contact for 21 days, while Clark got suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days. Abubakar got a 14-day suspension for mandatory rest.
Among other suspensions longer than a week are Karl Roberson for right eyelid laceration, Anthony Rocco Martin for a nasal laceration, Ed Herman and Calvin Kattar for a hard bout, and Danny Roberts for a temple injury. All of them got handed 30 days mandatory rest with 21 days of no contact.
