UFC News: Tyron Woodley speaks about McGregor confrontation
The pre-fight UFC 205 press conference saw a packed arena with New Yorkers waiting to see the arrival of The Notorious one and other UFC superstars.
Conor McGregor revealed his desire to add more belts to his collection during the UFC 205 press conference. This was in reference to Tyron Woodley’s Welterweight title. But McGregor was warned by ‘The Chosen one’ to which the Irishman didn’t bother to respond further.

After the weigh-ins, as Woodley passed McGregor they exchanged a bit of heat. Later, McGregor went on Twitter to call the welterweight champion a ‘b*tch”.
Woodley later spoke to Ariel Helwani about the backstage altercation and their online drama.
“What had happened is, I had already weighed in, I went to go grab some more water,” Woodley explained, according to Bjpenn.com. “So, I had to go around him to go get the water. So I said, ‘What’s up man’ and I walked past him and he kinda had a mug. So, I turned back and I was like, ‘I said what’s up’ and he was like ‘Wassup.’
It was obvious that The Notorious one was trying to get Woodley heated up and tried to get his attention. But ‘The Chosen One’ chose to simply pass by without reacting much.
“So, I don’t know what people saw on the video but I’m not that guy,” Woodley continued. “Number one, this is fighting but there are other layers. Where I’m from you can’t call me a bitch. That’s like a slap in the face or a spit in the face where I’m from so you just don’t call a dude a bitch.”

We are hours away from the biggest MMA event, probably the biggest event in all combat sports history, UFC 205, as the two champions will try to handle their business in the Octagon, in Madison Square Garden.
The featherweight champion, Conor McGregor is on his way to make history to be the first to hold two UFC titles simultaneously when he faces lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez. The two champions will headline the event but only one can possibly leave with two belts, The Notorious Irish.
