Ailin Perez visibly shakes as she misses weight

Ailin Perez was the only fighter to miss weight at the UFC Paris weigh-ins. The Argentine had some difficulty climbing up the scales and came in at 136.5 pounds.

She kept herself together until the official weight was read out, which was a half-pound over the non-title fight limit for bantamweight. But soon she started to get tremors as she made her way back from the scale and was helped by a UFC official.

Perez will forfeit 20% of her purse to her opponent Daria Zhelezniakova. She previously had to be rushed to the hospital after hitting the scales ahead of her fight against Lucie Pudilova last year.

All other fighters on the card made weight successfully.

UFC antitrust lawsuit sees new $375 million settlement agreement

A new and revised agreement was reached in one of the antitrust lawsuits pending against the UFC. On Thursday, TKO announced that a settlement of $375 million was agreed upon with the plaintiffs in the Le vs. Zuffa case. However, it is yet to be approved by Judge Judge Richard Boulware of the U.S. District Court of Nevada, who previously rejected a combined $335 million settlement in the same case.

The news was first reported by MMA journalist John Nash.

Eric Cramer, the lead attorney representing the fighters, said in a statement to MMA Junkie:

"If approved, it would provide immediate monetary relief to over 1,000 fighters who would each recover a significant enhancement to what he or she earned from the UFC during his or her fighting career."

Nash also explained how much the fighters will now make from the revised agreement.

Alexander Volkanovski warns Max Holloway about Ilia Topuria's mind games

Alexander Volkanovski, having felt the punching power of Ilia Topuria first-hand, warns his former rival Max Holloway ahead of the upcoming UFC 308 featherweight title fight.

Topuria has previously mentioned that he plans on turning the tables on Holloway by pointing at the center of the cage. It is a jab at Holloway's iconic move with which he welcomes his opponents for a striking exchange. It worked out for him most notably against Justin Gaethje at UFC 300.

However, it would be a bad idea to try against Topuria, given the Spaniard's boxing prowess, said Volkanovski in an interview with Submission Radio:

"Of course, he would love for Max [Holloway] to just point at the floor. We know Ilia [Topuria]'s got great hands right? He would just love to stay in that boxing range. That's where he has his chance of landing the big shot even though Max has got an incredible chin."

Volkanovski continued:

"But Max being Max, he's probably going to be winning and still do the same thing anyway, which would obviously play into Ilia's game. It wouldn't be a smart idea with someone like Ilia to just point at the ground and be like let's just swing. Ilia's obviously a powerful puncher. He loves his boxing."
