Ronda Rousey hospitalized after her shocking knockout loss at UFC 193
According to reports from well known MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, Ronda Rousey has been taken to the nearest hospital after her brutal knockout loss to Holly Holm.
Rousey was rocked by the trademark Holm head kick and fell straight to the ground by the impact – after which medical personnel rushed to attend to Rousey. She was visibly in discomfort, that prompted her urgent hospitalization.
She wasn’t even part of the post-fight interviews as she was straight away rushed to the nearest hospital in Melbourne. The extent of her injury is not known yet, but the current situation doesn’t look too good. Below is Helwani’s tweet:

UFC 193 will go down as a historic event as Holly Holm shocked the world by becoming the new Women’s Bantamweight Champion by shutting Rousey with a brutal head kick 59 seconds into the second round.
Holly Holm used her reach advantage to perfection as she landed some swift punches in the first round. What followed in the second round was the biggest upset in MMA history as Holm created history by not only ending Rousey’s undefeated streak but also becoming the first athlete to hold both the boxing World Championship and the UFC title.
As far as Rousey’s health is concerned, the details other than a busted lip are not known, but stay tuned for more updates on the same.
