Khalil Rountree Jr. gives update on cuts and bruises

Khalil Rountree Jr. didn't win the title fight at UFC 307 but definitely won hearts and a whole lot of fans with his performance. He pushed Alex Pereira in the initial two rounds before succumbing to the immense power of the Brazilian.

Rountree Jr. walked out of the octagon with a face smothered in blood from multiple cuts and bruises. One particular left jab from Pereira did a great job of busting his face open towards the end of the fight.

However, the cut on Rountree Jr.'s nose was a previous injury that opened up under Pereira's punishment. 'The War Horse' made the revelation on Instagram on Monday:

"Just an update. I got this cut three weeks before UFC 307. We knew it would re-open during the fight, and it did. The one on my eyebrows was unexpected."

He also shared a video of doctors stitching his cuts up.

Conor McGregor's Arsenal visit under review

Conor McGregor's surprise visit to Emirates Stadium is under review by Arsenal football club. The UFC star was spotted mingling with several players after last week's UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

Videos of McGregor doing shadow-boxing with Bukayo Saka went viral on social media. In one of them, he almost accidentally kicked the soccer star, who looked visibly uncomfortable. McGregor's actions, while intended playfully, could have injured Saka.

As per The Telegraph, McGregor entered the pitch without permission and was asked to leave once the security heads became aware of the situation. He reportedly attended the PSG match with VIP tickets through a third-party provider at the last minute. After McGregor's antics, Arsenal is now reviewing their arrangement with agencies that organize meetings between corporate guests and players post-match.

Kayla Harrison was hospitalized days before UFC 307

Kayla Harrison disappointed a few fans with her UFC 307 performance despite walking away with a win. Ketlen Vieira inflicted noticeable damage on Harrison, who had so far been almost untouched in MMA bouts.

In an interview with TMZ, Harrison revealed that the reason she couldn't deliver up to the mark was a difficult weight-cut. Harrison cuts down to bantamweight in UFC but says she's not built for the weight class.

"I had to go to the hospital the week before. I was like peeing blood, and there was some stuff going on... I'm just not built to weigh 135 pounds. Anytime I get under the 150s, it's not pleasant."

She's naturally a featherweight, a division now defunct in the promotion since Amanda Nunes retired. For years before that, she only held the belt without any contenders to challenge her.
