WATCH: Floyd Mayweather meets former rival Marcos Maidana in Dubai
Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana met face-to-face over the weekend in Dubai.
Last Saturday night, there was a compelling fight card happening in the country. In the main event, heavyweight contenders Jarrell Miller and Lucas Browne put on a show. In the end it was 'Big Baby' who got the win by sixth-round knockout.
While the event didn't feature superstar names, there were some notable ones in attendance. Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley was working on the event on the broadcast, as well as boxing legend Roy Jones Jr.
However, Floyd Mayweather stood above the rest at the event. 'Money' announced that he would attend the event last week, and seemingly had a good time there. While there, he also ran into a former rival, Marcos Maidana.
'Chino' faced Mayweather on two occasions, each being a gritty slugfest mostly fought in the clinch. While the pair have been rivals in their boxing careers, they seem on good terms today.
The two greeted each other in the ring, sharing a hug as well.

How did Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana go?
For those that missed Floyd Mayweather's series with Marcos Maidana, both fights are worth a watch.
The two first met in May 2014, just one fight after 'Money' dominated Canelo Alvarez. Meanwhile, 'Chino' entered the fight with Mayweather as the WBA (Unified) welterweight champion, but was nonetheless the more unknown boxer.
However, the Argentine came to fight that night in Las Vegas. Maidana decided the only way to beat Mayweather was by bending the rules and fighting in the clinch, and he did exactly that. Early into the fight, the underdog was having massive success.
As the fight wore on, the legend re-established his footing and gained control over the proceedings. Nonetheless, when the fight went to the judges' scorecards, many fans felt the result could go either way. Ultimately, it was Mayweather who earned the win by majority decision. To this day, many still feel that Maidana deserved the nod.
Later that year, Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana met once again. This time, the latter wasn't nearly as successful. He was shut down by the defensive legend and wasn't allowed to fight in the clinch nearly as much as on the first outing.
Nearly a decade on from the 24 rounds they spent together, it seems the two are on good terms.
