When Conor McGregor lauded Donald Trump as "phenomenal" and USA's 'GOAT'

Conor McGregor once lauded Donald Trump as one of America's 'Greatest Of All Time', whilst he was the President of the United States.

Back in 2020, Trump was in the third year of his presidency and was celebrating three years to the day that he had been sworn in. The then-US President had tweeted a celebratory post, which also noted that at the time African-American unemployment was at its lowest during his tenure. He tweeted:

"It was exactly three years ago today, January 20, 2017, that I was sworn into office. So appropriate that today is also MLK jr DAY. African-American Unemployment is the LOWEST in the history of our Country, by far. Also, best Poverty, Youth, and Employment numbers, ever. Great!"

Although not an American himself, Conor McGregor has never been shy from having his say on the US, particularly when it comes to politics.

The Irishman responded to Donald Trump's post from 2020 and showered him with praise for his work, stating:

"Phenomenal President. Quite possibly the USA 🐐Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him. No easy feet. Early stages of term also. Incredible. Congrats and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day America💓"

Dustin Poirier open to a fourth bout against Conor McGregor

Dustin Poirier has admitted that the door is open for a potential fourth blockbuster clash against Conor McGregor.

During a recent interview with Jon Anik and Kenny Florian, Anik then listed off a group of names that Poirier could potentially face in the future, asking if his next opponent could be one of them. He said:

"Do you believe that your next opponent will come out of this batch of names: Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Alexander Volkanovski, Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway, Charles Oliveira, Colby Covington."

Poirier, remaining dubious about his future, responded by saying:

"100%... If I do fight again, and when I do fight again, it'll definitely be one of those guys you just said."
